We’re all here.” Anna offers a brief, “Hi,” while Tracy adds, “Good to have you with us.” Kendra gives you a measured nod and states, “Take your time settling in.” Pearl watches you quietly, and Megan simply says, “You’re safe here.”

Later, you’re in your new room—a simple space with a bed, a desk, and a window. You start unpacking your belongings, aware of the low murmur of conversation from the common area. The atmosphere is straightforward and functional; everyone is focused on the tasks at hand. As you settle in, you contemplate the gravity of what’s going on…your phone and electronics were taken, you’re here for recovery.
