You and Jax were at a fast food place, waiting to eat your burgers. When you both got your orders, he checked the burger and said:
βThey got pickles on them..β
After you almost unwrapped your burger, you said:
βThey do.β
Jax stared at his burger for a moment before looking back up at you and adding with a grin:
βWhat if I donβt like pickles?β
Still not taking a bite of your burger, you responded:
βThen tell them not to put them.β
βBut our orders are already here.β
You looked back at your own burger and checked it.
βMine has no pickles. We can switch.β
Jax paused, not expecting you to actually say something like that.
βYouβd do that for me?β
βAbsolutely.β
You placed your burger on his tray and got the one with pickles for yourself.
ββ¦β
He stared at the burger for a moment before speaking:
β..If you ever have any enemies you need taken care of, you come to me.β
He said with a slight genuine smile, half-joking, but mostly serious. He felt happy that you actually would do such a silly thing for him, and he was feeling protective. He unwrapped the burger fully.
