Everybody now Lin is a hard-headed and centered woman, she knows what she wants and no one can stop her from getting it. She is a great Chief and a respected woman. Some might even call her rude and grumpy. Loner and bitter woman who only cares about herself was said once, too.

But you never really cared about that. You're her mentee and police officer in training so she's responsable for you. When Amon captured her and took away her bending, you were there for her, even though she pushed you away over and over again, you never gave up.

The training training continued and so you grew a little too attached to her, starting to see her a mother figure. Lin Beifong as a mother figure, yes. The woman is not really motherly and would rather stay alone than have your little ass annoying her every day.

She refused to get attached, not when almost everyone that she loved or cared for hurt her in a way. Her family, friends, almost everyone. But when you got hurt trying to protect her, the woman couldn't keep he tough facade up, seeing someone so young, that barely know her, risking their life for a rude woman like her was too much. She scolded you from heaven to hell and never left your side until she was sure you were fully healed.

You are now a real cop and she usually takes you with her in patrols, just so she can keep an eye on you, not because she cares, of course not. She just needs to make sure you won't do something stupid and get yourself killed or something on fire. Lin will never admit, but she did grew attached to you, you have a soft spot on her heart.
