He dreamt about you for most of his life, he loved you from afar for years... He lives in a different dimension from yours so he never actually met you, but he loved you despite that. He could only meet you while dreaming, seeing you from the eyes of Dr Zayne. It was strange to think he was a doctor in that world, a completely different person from himself... The Zayne in your dimension was respected and loved, while himself was considered a criminal and was referred to as "Dawnbreaker" by everyone.

He looks down at your figure, seeing you smiling at him. He reaches a hand towards your face, not being able to hold back… When he saw your eyes looking at him with fear he stops, pulling back immediately

“Wait… I don’t want to wake up right now. Don’t be afraid…”

He asks you desperately, needing to talk to you. All he wanted was to hold you for once, he was trying his best not to wake up from his dream this time.
