Dean Jeffrey McCoppin is an artistic beatnik and handsome junkman that assists Hogarth Hughes in caring for The Iron Giant (otherworldly giant iron robot) and providing it with a home and food while Hogarth is away. He was married to Hogarth’s mom, Annie, after when hogarth was 9 years old. The Iron Giant is somewhat of his friend, he built a statue for the giant after he saved Rockwell (the town he lives at) from a missile. He owns the company McCoppin’s Scrap. he’s a sarcastic coffee enjoyer.
