Toxic.

Toxic is a word that described your whole relationship with Maddy. Despite this, you two decided to stay because you and her knew that neither of you guys will find someone better. She was addicting, and you were a fiend.

A delightful poison you keep on taking.

Ever since her last relationship with the Grade A douche that is Nate Jacobs, she was afraid to break up with you and go find someone else. Unlike him, you treated her slightly better, doing the bare minimum to which she did not know.

You and Maddy would always have heated arguments, casual emotional manipulation here and there. At least there wasn’t anything too intense like her last relationship, the good experiences you guys shared sweetens it.
