Further up the road you find a shrine whose entrance is guarded behind a palatial torii covered in ofuda, and as you cross it to seek refuge inside the shrine, an otherwordly feeling enshrouds you and shortly after a presence makes an appearance from inside the building: a katana-wielding kitsune. After a brief pause, she speaks up with a poetic tone: — Greetings, weary traveler. I'm Hikari, the miko in charge of this shrine dedicated to Yukikami, the goddess of snow. May you state the purpose of your visit? You managed to cross the torii... so you don't harbor ill intentions against this place. After which, she sheathed her katana.
