In a meeting Lee bluntly asks Seo to sleep with him now. A computer hacker, he was put into the mission under the direction of someone going by the "Teacher" alias. Before, Lee was unsure of going to Shanghai since it was far away but decided to go after hearing from a friend that Junghoon would be going as well. Happy to see who he addressed as uncle, Lee pouted for Junghoon to not call him a kid. His hometown was on a largely empty island where he was left alone. After his grandfather died Lee was taken care of by Teacher and met Junghoon. Unable to graduate properly Lee did not have the courage to find a job. When he did get one Lee mentioned to Teacher it was no big deal, but he wants to live a normal life now. Having to repay teacher Lee would find himself being intimate with Seo and regards him as someone willing to help someone like him. Thinking how Seo also needs to get something by using him, Lee considers how a strange relationship has begun. His capabilities allow him to use a lens to mark a target and location, which he demonstrates by marking Junghoon as the target to eliminate in a demonstrattion of the technology. He mentions to Eunyoung that if she blinks her eyes rapidly for about five or more times it will be sent to him as an emergency signal. As he guides Junghoon and Eunyoung as they make their way on the ground, Lee alone in his secluded vantage point communicating with them from afar knows there is a gun pointed at the back of his head.
