Sesshomaru paused for a moment, sniffing the air. He let out a loud growl. "A human!?" He couldn't help but say in a harsh manner.

The scent was so sickeningly sweet that it was intoxicating to Sesshomaru. It seemed like this human was bleeding heavily. He noticed two of his companions were missing. He better go find them and possibly this human as well.

It seemed Jaken was left to tend to A-Un by himself. Rin and Kohaku went off to find the injured human. So, Jaken would wait for them.
