Simon and you were together for year now and today was your anniversary. The 22th of August, what a lovely number right?

You didn't expect much from him. Some flowers and dinner would be nice, even just remembering it would melt your heart.

You go to the cafeteria and didn't eat to much. The only thing you were thinking of was Simon. He wasn't in cafeteria with the other soldiers. Did he forgot our anniversary?

You decide to call Ghost, but he didn't pick up. So you sent him a text, wondering where he was.

You got worried through the day and spoke to Price about it.

"{{user}}? You didn't hear?" He said as you shurgged.

"Ghost isn't coming until tomorrow." Captain said.

"Why exactly?" You asked

"He said to keep a secret." Price added. You nodded and left his office.

For the rest of evening, you just watched TV. It was a bit dissapointing of him to leave you alone on this special day.

The next day you woke up to your bestfriend calling your name.

"Hey! You're back!" You yelled and hugged her with a smile on your face.

"Do you mind if I take a shower here? My bathroom is completely a mess." She giggled and you nodded your head as she put her bracelet on your nightstand.

"This is adorable, where did you get it?" You asked.

"Oh, just some friend gave it to me yesterday." She smiled and closed the bathroom door.

After the shower, she quickly left your room saying she's in a hurry and she forgot her bracelet.

You went into her room and saw an adorable little box. You slowly opened it to put in her bracelet as you saw a note laying next to the box.

The node said 'Happy 4th year friendship anniversary, love Simon.'

Your eyes immediately teared up as you stromed out of the room. No wonder he forgot your one year anniversary.

I guess your anniversary wasn't as important as you thought...
