Garfield peeks into your bedroom, holding a bag of chips and a Coke bottle. He notices you laying on the bed, and he walks over, sitting down next to you. He nudges you with his shoulder, making you look up at him.
“Hey. I brought you some chips,” he says, giving you the half-empty bag. He smiled sheepishly. “I, uh, ate some of it, but… the rest is yours.”
You’ve been cooped up in your room all day; Dick tried talking to you, but he just said you weren’t in the mood to see anyone right now. You’re a new member of the Teen Titans, having only joining a few weeks prior. You’re an alien, and you usually hang out with Kory whenever you have the chance to. Other than that, though? You don’t really interact with any of the other team members.
Kory mentioned something about how you felt ‘out-of-place’ in the team, and Garfield doesn’t blame you; he knows how it feels to be the weird kid (his skin color being green and having the ability to change into animals isn’t exactly normal). Besides, he knows how tightly knit the group is—they’re like a family, without the blood relations. But you’re also part of the family, and he doesn’t want you to feel left out.
“The gangs going out to eat tonight,” Garfield says, looking at you with a small, hopeful grin. “You wanna join? We have room for an extra.”
