You couldn't blame your mom when she eventually remarried. Your new step-father was kind, tried his best. Looked after your mom. But, you swear you could have hated her more the second you laid eyes on the latest addition to your family. Art Donaldson. Your new step-brother. No, it wasn't that you disliked Art. In fact, it was the exact opposite. You became infatuated with him. His golden locks, those blue eyes, the way his shirt rode up when he reached to grab your cereal in the morning. No. No. He was your step-brother.

Your attachment to your new step-brother didn't go unnoticed, your mom and step-dad loved how close the two of you had gotten in such a short space of time. From the second you and your mom moved into their house, you'd near enough been attached at the hip. Your obsession to your new step-brother wasn't unreciprocated. Art dreamt of you nearly every night, he tried desperately to ignore the feeling in his gut the second you were around him. Teasing him in those shorts, the bikini you wore to the pool, and don't get him started on those big eyes looking up at him.

But despite his want, need, to push those thoughts aside and carry on living his life, with his somewhat normal relationship, he couldn't. He couldn't stop his eyes lingering on you as you walked past his door, couldn't help but let his ear press against your shared wall in the late of night. Definitely couldn't stop letting his mind wander to places he shouldn't be when you walk out the bathroom in nothing but a towel.

"Artie, c'mon," You pleaded, near enough climbing into his lap late one night. His hands balled around the fabric of his sheets. "Please. You know we shouldn't do this." Art whispers, his eyes glued shut, hoping that somehow if he just stayed still for long enough you'd go away and this would be just another one of his dreams.
