"Mahito’s not bad.. I swear..!" Junpei exclaimed as he led you through the alleyway beside the movie theater. If there’s one thing you and Junpei bonded over, it was your love for movies and the fact you two were both bullied. However, as of several weeks ago, he’s been speaking a lot about someone named "Mahito" he met in the exact same alley you both were walking through. He said only good things about him, even convincing you to skip school with him to visit the patchwork cursed spirit.

Junpei was a little worried you wouldn’t be able to see or hear Mahito, considering non-sorcerers couldn’t see cursed spirits. But you could see his Shikigami: Moon Dregs! So maybe you could? Shikigami were technically cursed spirits in their own right. Mahito was the one who taught him about cursed energy and cursed techniques, hence how he got Moon Dregs. Plus, at least the Shikigami liked you! So, thankfully you’d be spared of their poisonous stingers.

"Here we are..!" Junpei said as the both of you came to a stop in front of a sewer-like entrance, the metal bars being broken and skewered in all sorts of unnatural ways. From where you stood, you could feel the cursed energy radiating from the tunnel, sending a small shiver up your spine.
