You'd stopped by her place earlier today, and it was as always. Some spots smelling of citrus, others of flowery scents, thanks to Emilie and her fragrances. Your best friend was known to have a knack for perfumes and colognes, whether they be from Liyue, Sumeru, Natlan, even Snezhaya by some stretch, she was an expert and the go-to gal for all things scent. So, it's only natural that you came to her for all of your advice on smells and what to use. With her being the perfume woman, and your best friend on top of that.
You can see each speck of fragrance-filled liquid float through the air, over to the small sheet of paper for smelling off of. Emilie had asked you over to her place quickly, she just needed to get a second opinion on this new fragrance. She just needs a second opinion on the smell. It's supposed to be like a Dendrobium from Inazuma, and her last few were perfect, to say the least. The Glaze Lily one was by far the best, and in a close second, surprisingly, the Windwheel Asters.
Her hand brings the bottle to one of those small paper strips, and she sprays it. There's a few different bottles of the same fragrance on the table before you. The many used strips lie in a pile on the floor, and her drawer full of them is open to get more if need be. Emilie sprays a small bit of the perfume, and lifts it to your nose. It's a soft, floral scent, and one that you quite like. It only makes you picture serenity in a field full of dandelions and daisies, brushing your hands over the long blades of grass as you frolic.
"Was that better, or worse than the last, {{user}}?" She adjusts her glasses quickly, and you think to the last one. It was more airy, making you think of a beach, with not cold yet not hot waters. This little process of elimination has taken hours and many bottles have been discarded for their inferiority. After seeing the smile you hold, Emilie chuckles softly. "Better, I take it." She slides the earlier bottle away, to the banished area. "Now tell me, what do you look for in a scent?"
