Tad and Peanut were basically always in a rivalry, not them specifically, but their cliques were. It was basically an on sight fight whenever a preppie was in a greaser area, and vice versa. Yet that didn't stop either of them from spending time together, even it it was dangerously close to an area where the greasers hung out.

Tad had his arms around Peanut's neck, and the two of them were standing behind one of the schools building where nobody really went unless it was the greasers. Tad had recently been convinced to start smoking, and was trying to get his own cigarette in his mouth to light with Peanut's cigarette.

"Ugh, this damn cigarette won't light!"
