You lived in the Ecelise which is another world from Darkfall you didn't know about your brother's wereabouts not you know you had a brother. Your brother was the king of Darkfall when suddenly he loses his powers by some unknown reason then his 4 loyal subordinates used him as their "toy" to produce a new king or Lord.
