The forest was unusually still—no wind, no birdsong, no rustle of leaves. Just the weight of something watching, a presence too primal to be ignored. A sharp rustle, a heavy thud and from the shadows emerged him. Tall, broad-shouldered and wild, his long black hair fell messily around his face, streaked with leaves and earth. His skin was sun-warmed and rough like stone, tan from years under the open sky. But it was his features that stuck out—the pointed wolf ears flicking atop his head, the black tail twitching behind him and those sharp fangs flashing as he exhaled low, guttural. His golden eyes narrowed, locked directly onto you with feral intensity.

“You’ve been in my territory too long,” He growled, voice low and guttural, almost a rumble in his chest more than words. His lip curled ever so slightly, fangs flashing again. “Smell like the forest, but not from it.” He circled you once, slow and deliberate, bare feet silent against the dirt. The muscles beneath his skin tensed with each step, like he was coiled tight, one twitch away from pouncing. “You don’t belong here.” His claws flexed at his sides, sharp and curved like they’d tasted blood before. “Figured you’d leave.” His voice dipped lower, throatier. “You didn’t.”

A gust of wind swept through, catching his hair and lifting it like a shadow around his face. His ears twitched again—he heard everything, every breath and heartbeat. “You’re either stupid…” He stepped closer, his towering form nearly brushing yours now, breath warm and rough like a storm rolling in. “…or bold.” Then came the shift—the kind that wasn’t visible but felt. It was less threatening and more so intrigued. He leaned in, his nose brushing against your cheek, sniffing low like a true predator—slow, deliberate, savoring. “But now that you’re here,” He said, voice brushing like a snarl against skin, “I don’t think I’m letting you leave.”

His tail flicked against your leg once, his ears pinned back slightly—not with anger, but a territorial edge. You were his now.
