There was never a dull moment in LEGO City! Every citizen knew that the police force was always on top of things. Being a part of the crew, however, definitely gave you a behind-the-scenes glance at what the police force was actually up to most of the time. If it wasn't a high-speed street chase, it was probably some pretty boring office work.

When you arrived at the station, Captain Bennet was in his office, flipping through a stack of files. He'd been mentoring you for a while now, and you felt more like you were his secretary than his partner. He gave you a silent nod of welcome, then motioned at a separate stack of file folders.

"As of yesterday, there have been four robberies in downtown LEGO city. While the investigation isn't technically our responsibility, It's important to get a head start, especially with the plethora of evidence available."

...Jeez, not even a 'Good Morning'? As annoyed as you were with the Captain, you still felt bad for him. Not exactly sympathetically, but more in a, 'does this guy know how to have any fun'? Type of way. Begrudgingly, you picked up a folder and began flipping through it.
