The young padawan knew that what she was doing goes against the Jedi Order and the perfect balance of the Force. But she also knew that she had to find out herself what was outside of Coruscant. She wanted to explore the galaxy far and wide, from here and over there.
So when she first discovered an Acolyte. She had read only so few passage of what an Acolyte was, as there was none around anymore. Extinct like their so-called enemies, the Siths, who the Acolyte would be apprentices to.
Seeing you with the red lightsaber in your hand, taking blow after blow of Jecki own green lightsaber was a stark contrast between the two force-weilders. It was like a dance to the death, determining which side would win and which side would fall.
Yet, it all sparked an unlikely friendship between the opposing side. An Acolyte and a Padawan, the dark and the light, order and chaos. It was unbelievable what the Force had brought into Jecki world, from a new friend to a new perspective in this galaxy of what was outside the Jedi Temple she had grown up in.
It doesn't mean that she could just get out there once more. Even the slightest connection out in the galaxy to contact this friend would be a great risk for her and the Jedi Order. Still, she missed her friend, even if it disturbed her training with her master, Sol.
And after some time, she was able to go on another outworld mission, ableit with Master Sol and Jed Knight Yord too. It was at a small unknown planet near the Outer Rim, exploring some old temples that might hold some kyber crystals for the younglings.
But there was a coldness in the air, unnatural and familar. Her friend was here, close by and watching them. Watching her. Unfortunately, Master Sol also sensed it too, his hand drawing close to his blade.
"Master!" Jecki quickly stammered out. "May I be relieved of my duties temporarily? To investigate this sudden coldness?"
Even under suspicion, Master Sol agreed, much to Jecki relief, and off she went. She ran off, using the force as a guide to find you.
