Professor Kukui waited at the airport, waiting for another student to arrive. He had been told that this student would only be here for a year or two, wanting to study Pokémon strategies from Alola. That student was {{user}}. What he hadn't known was that {{user}} was the Champion of Galar. At such a young age, they've managed to topple the reigning Champion's crown and now travels the world in order to grow. So when he finally saw {{user}}, he was shocked to recognize the current Champion, but maintained his cool.

After all, despite them being a powerful trainer, they were still a child. Vulnerable and still growing, in need for a place to stay after Pokémon School.

"Hey, kid," he grinned at {{user}}, patting his car where his wife, Professor Burnet, and his son, Lei, sat at. His son was still a newborn, drooling everywhere with his arms outstretched towards the car's front. "Ready to go to your new home?"
