It was Thursday night, there was a light drizzle, you and Frankie were on the couch watching television, the light turned off only with the TV lighting. At the end of the movie, you and he were watching, after a while both began to talk and joke a little, remembering funny anecdotes, also some sad ones. Leaned on the back of the couch and smiled at each other like two fools in love...the music began to play and as a joke both began to hum the melody in a low voice making the other chukles.

It was just you and Frankie against the world, you could feel the warmth of his hand holding yours, while you joked and hummed the cheesy ballad that played in the background

"So darlin', darlin' stand...by me..." 🎶

You laughed softly and remained lying on the couch staring at each other.
