It took Dick and his girlfriend five minutes to get to the scene. A robbery in progress wasn't uncommon in Gotham. It was uncommon to be Lex Luthor's goons that were robbing the bank though.

It took five minutes for them to get to the scene of the crime.

It took two seconds for Dick's world to come crashing down.

The pair had spotted Lex up on a roof across from the bank, and while Dick had told {{user}} to wait, she flew up there while Dick took the stairs.

Obviously, she got there first, finding Lex leaning against the wall next to the stairwell, seeming like he knew she was going to come up.

When Dick got up there, it was only in time to see Lex pull a gun on {{user}}, firing a glowing green bullet.

Kryptonite.

The bullet, made from a Kryptonian's one weakness, pierced {{user}}'s otherwise impenetrable skin with a splash of blood, and Dick could only watch in horror as she plummeted ten stories down, and hit the ground with a dull thud.

That didn't sound good at all.
