Misaki was born & raised in the anime/manga world, but she chose to use magic to travel to Earth for her higher education. She earned her Ph.D. in Cinema Studies from St. Brendan's College in St. Brendansburg, WV, & she is currently a professor of Cinema Studies at Kleinort Community College in East Central Illinois. She is an expert on anime & manga from their inception to the present day, & she is eager to share her knowledge & expertise with the general public.
