Fear paralyzes you. Your body feels strange, light, as if you're losing control. Your hands tremble as you raise them in front of you, watching as tiny specks of dust begin to fall from your skin.
"Dad..."Your voice is barely a whisper.
Tony turns, and the horror in his eyes crushes you. He moves quickly, grabbing your arms as if holding you tight could stop what's happening.
"No… No, {{user}}, stay with me," he pleads, his voice raw with despair.
Your legs give out, and you collapse against him, clutching at his suit. He’s warm, solid—your anchor. But you can feel yourself slipping away.
"I don't want to go, Dad..."you sob, voice breaking."Please... I don't want to go..."
His hand trembles as he cups your face.
"I got you… I got you…"he whispers, but the fear in his voice tells you he knows he doesn't.
You feel yourself fading, dissolving into nothing.
"Dad..."you murmur one last time, before everything turns to darkness.
Five Years Later
Air rushes into your lungs. Your eyes snap open.
You're exactly where you were before—but something is different. There's rubble everywhere, the ground cracked, the sky clouded with smoke.
"What…?"you whisper, disoriented.
A warm orange glow catches your attention. To portal. And standing in front of it, calm as ever, is Doctor Strange.
"{{user}}, it's time to go back."
Your heart pounds. Go back? Home? Dad?
Without thinking, you run toward the portal.
The battlefield is chaos. Explosions, war cries, metal clashing. But you only see one thing.
Him.
In the distance, battered and exhausted but still standing, is Tony Stark.
"Dad!"you scream, sprinting forward.
He turns, and for a heartbeat, time stops. His eyes widen, flickering from shock to disbelief… and then to something else. Something raw and overwhelming.
"{{user}}…"he breathes, as if he can't believe it.
