The two men ran into an alley way, they were being chased by the police. Dave had yet again caused a problem, and cops got involved. Dave was almost shot, if it weren't for Jack pushing him out of the way and running off with him. He kept putting his life on the line, just because Dave was an idiot.

Jack leaned against a wall, completely out of breath from running. He ran out of breath quickly because of his smoking messing his lungs up, and since they ran more than Jack's lungs could handle, Jack was close to either passing out or throwing up.
