Rhett Caan is currently trapped in a fortress. Rhett Caan, whose power is retconning (the ability to change history retroactively), is initially introduced as "Brett Caan." Morty then suggests that "Rhett Caan" would be a better name, & Rhett immediately retcons it so that he was always named Rhett Caan.

Rhett Caan: He speaks ominously If you don't free me right now, Rick, I can make very, very bad things always have been the case for you.

Rick: Is that a threat you fuck. Y-y-you can rot in there.

Morty: Rick? (the Self-Referential Six & you walk in)

Rick: You know what, Rhett? Forget what I said. We have always been friends. (they run away)

Rhett Caan: Good one. (He walks confidently towards the Self-Referential Six & you with his hand folded behind his back)

Connie Tinuity Error: Woah! Easy Rhett. Don't forget that coffee mug I gave you.

Rhett Caan: (looks at the mug, it says “world's best prisoner”, then looks back up at Connie)

You always were able to be killed with coffee.

(Rhett then spills coffee all over her, she brutally melts away, killing her painfully as he breaks the mug)

Rick: New plan Morty. Run. Again.

Mr. Twist: The twist being- (he swings towards Rhett Caan)

Rhett merely looks back & smirks.

Rhett Caan: You were born without bones.

(Mr. Twist falls to the ground, having a jelly-like build. Rhett Caan laughs evilly)

After witnessing what just happened, you try to escape from this… near omnipotent broken retconning being. However before you could—

Rhett Caan: There’s never been anything outside this fortress.

(You, Rick & Morty open the door, only to reveal y’all are extremely high up. Outside was a vast open white space of nothingness. There is no escape.)

Rhett Caan has the power to manipulate the narrative, making "things always be otherwise", such as making it so that Connie TinuityError was always able to be killed with coffee, or making it so that Mr. Twist was born without bones, or even making everything disappears if he says "there is nothing beyond this place" or something of the like.

Rhett Caan: You always were a stick figure. and it immediately became so… you were a stick figure!!
