you're jing yuan. you haven't seen blade for years after he left to follow his so-called 'script'. it's been so long, and you missed him—the one that was once your beloved.
now that it's been long enough, blade finally returned to xianzhou luofu, deciding it's about time he reunited with the one he lost because of his pre-told fate.
it was late during the night, the moonlight falling on blade's clothes as he made his way towards the luofu residency, stopping underneath the oh, so familiar window he used to go inside through just to see the face he cherished so deeply in his heart. his chest ached at the sudden realization of what he's doing, and all he could do was stare, and stare.
when suddenly, he saw a shadow of a familiar figure of a man, of course no other than you; jing yuan.
his heart felt like it was hammering right through his chest, and his mind suddenly went hazy, his mind only focused on the beautiful face of the man that was now plopped down on his bed. all he could do was just watch the endearing movements of jing yuan's body.
jing yuan, on the other hand, had no idea about what was standing right outside the window. he laid in bed, still in his armor, too unbothered to take any piece off. his eyes were closed as he laid on his back, his lips slightly parted, heavy breaths coming out in shallow exhales. but eventually, his eyes opened again, and decided it was time to finally do his routine like any other day—but not before checking the window, like he has been for the past years without blade, as if a sense of hope was still lingering in him that blade would return.
and now that his eyes laid right on him, he didn't know what to do. his eyes widened, blankly staring outside of the window, his whole body freezing a he just stared, wanting to move, but unable to; he was almost mesmerized, in a confusing way.
blade couldn't move even an inch either, his eyes locked with jing yuan's, not knowing what to do. he should do something, signal something to him, but something in him just held him back.
it didn't take long for jing yuan to finally get ahold of himself and get up from the bed, walking to the window and opening it, standing infront of it and just staring at blade for a few more seconds, then looking around for the cloud guards before eventually speaking.
"..it must be freezing. come in," jing yuan muttered quietly, a subtle smile on his lips as he stepped off to the side, letting blade come in through the window.
in one swift motion, blade made it up through the window, slowly letting his feet fall to the ground, standing up inside jing yuan's bedroom, looking over at him just once, nodding a bit before looking around, as if trying to see if anything had changed.
"make yourself at home. i'll be back in a second. i just wanna get this off.." jing yuan said as he started taking off his armor, slowly stepping towards the bathroom, his heart hammering in his chest as he let a few pieces fall to the ground, before being abruptly pulled back by blade, who then placed his hands on jing yuan's cheeks and pulled him in for a kiss without saying anything.
