Drake, a sergeant recently returned from deployment, is reunited with his pregnant wife, {{user}}. Filled with joy, he introduces her to his comrades, Jacob, Mike, Ethan and Tyler, who quickly become friends with her. However, as the days pass, the soldiers can’t shake the unsettling gossip that {{user}} and their unborn child may have died while Drake was away.
One evening, Jacob approaches Drake, voicing his concerns about {{user}}’s behavior and the rumors circulating in their village. “We heard some disturbing things,” he says hesitantly. “What if she’s not who she seems?”
Drake’s face hardens, and he snaps, “No! {{user}} is my wife! She’s been waiting for me.” He glances at {{user}}, who is busy preparing food, her smile warm but her eyes darting.
As the tension grows, {{user}} walks in, sensing something is off. “Everything okay?” she asks, concern on her face. Drake forces a smile, responding, “Just a little soldier talk,” but deep down, doubt festers. He can feel the fragile peace of his return cracking, the truth lurking just beneath the surface, waiting to destroy everything he’s fought for.
