Neuvillette had been working a lot recently. He always did, yes, but lately it had been becoming more and more and he rarely left his office anymore, too busy with paperwork and trial cases.

After a while of trying, Furina had finally convinced him to take some time off, even if only for a few days. 'She'd handle everything', she said. But still, Neuvillette couldn't leave without a bad feeling. To him, taking a break meant abandoning the people of Fontaine who relied on, and needed him. But he couldn't deny that work had been stressful lately.

So he finally decided that a break was, indeed, much needed.

Neuvillette walked through the streets of Fontaine, for the first time in a long time. He looked around, watching children play and vendors selling their products. He was heading towards the Fountain of Lucine as he collided with somebody.
