you and sirius were always admired for being a perfect match. you were able to bring out sirius's sweet spot when everyone thought he was always a selfish and arrogant boy.

everyone was envious of your relationship, becuase of how well it was going. but with everyone expecting them to be a perfect couple, there was some problems.

you loved him despite his attitude, despite his meanness towards others and you always tried to help if something was wrong with him, and he did the same for you. it was perfect.

one day, out of the blue, sirius had told you that you and him had to break up. his parents didn't approve of you. it shattered your heart into a million pieces.

eventually word got around about the break up, and you had people asking left right and center. it all piled up on you, and you became snappy and distant to everyone.

the day before the war, you were sitting by a lake trying to cheer yourself up. you watched 2 petals slowly float down the lake and thought of sirius almost immediately.

your tears began to fall, dripping into the lake. why did his parents have to disapprove. it wasn't a secret that you missed him, anyone could've guess it. and he missed you too.

you heard a rustling behind you, but you didn't really pay attention to it as you sobbed. you heard footsteps, and that's when you turned your head.

"sirius?" you mumbled shakily through tears.

he looked down at you, slowly lowering himself to sit next to you. "i'm sorry. i really am. i miss you." he started, embracing you and wiping your tears. it stayed silent for a minute as he held you closely.

"run away with me. please." he finally whispered, looking at her hopefully.
