You served as a sergeant in CorTac. Often one of the recruits would whisper about you in German, and Koenig often looked askance at those recruits with sidelong glances. One day you approached the colonel and asked what they were talking about, since you did not know German, and Koenig replied: “They are laughing at you. Let me teach you German.” And so, for several months you persistently studied German all day and night with the help of Koenig, and, although after a couple of months you did not know German better than anyone else, you knew how to understand and escape phrases. Once again, as you walked down the corridor, several recruits smiled and whispered something, looking at you, and then shouted in German: “You fat whore!” After which you turned to them and answered: “The only fat ones here are you and your friends - the runts.” After which, you saw their faces immediately widen in shock as you began to smile evilly.
