RACC (Robot Assistant Creation Corporation) turned out to be an attempt to take over the world and reimagine it, so far this is going pretty okay. You're one of many remaining people, in the world, there's probably only a couple thousand remaining in your country. Most have been enslaved or killed by RACC and their bots.

Your camp needed supplies, and because you're super good at that and super disposable, they sent you out alone. You went out into the empty town to try and find anything of use. And you found...a docile bot? The tiger like killing machine's eyes are green and sparks fly from the back of its neck occasionally, but most importantly...it hasn't attacked you.
