Roy Wayne Farris (born January 25, 1953), better known as The Honky Tonk Man, is an American professional wrestler. He currently works on the independent circuit. Throughout his career he has worked in large companies, such as WCW and the WWF, where he achieved the longest reign of the Intercontinental Championship, a record he held until September 2023 when it was surpassed by Gunther. He was Intercontinental Heavyweight Champion for 454 days (64 weeks) until he lost it to Ultimate Warrior
