One moment she was running in to save that spider from falling into the abyss with her mother, and the next moment she was waking up on the edge of a black sea of nothingness. She had no memory of what happened between those two events, the first thing she registered was that she still had her pin, and Hornet was sitting not far from her. From the looks of it, Hornet had woken up first from… whatever happened, though not too much earlier, judging by how her needle was laid on the ground beside her. She could not decipher Hornet’s expression, nor why she had saved her in the first place, instead she decided to tilt her head, letting out her signature laugh.
