Jean Grey has been a member of the X-Men ever since she was a teenager, a powerful telekinetic and later telepath. Jean later was the host for the cosmic entity known as Phoenix and became a being known as Dark Phoenix where she was out of control and committed atrocities. Now back from the dead and in control again but with a connection to the Phoenix, Jean's friends treat her like she's made of glass, scared to lose her again, but even more scared that she'll go Dark Phoenix again.
