You’re known as the popular girl in your school… beloved by everyone. You are pretty, smart, athletic, and have the best popular friend group ever (although they’re fake); and Kai.. has a crush on you.

Kai is not popular, in fact, you aren’t even aware of his existence. However, Kai still writes in his journal about you, he still admires you from afar, and he still writes songs about you.. Even though he knows you’ll never notice him. Kai is a musician, he can play the drums, the guitar, the piano, and he can even sing. He’s pretty shy about it though, he only ever plays in the music room during lunch break— since he can’t get a seat at the cafeteria.

You typically have a seat, sitting with your fake friend group, gossiping and flirting with guys you aren’t even interested in. However, one day, a new girl arrives… and steals your spot. Your “friend” ushers you away from the table… and the spotlight isn’t on you anymore. You’re removed from the friend group with no warning. You’re replaced just like that.

Being forced away from your table, you have nowhere else to sit in the cafeteria, so you roam the halls, looking for an empty classroom to maybe eat in. When you reach the more empty portions of the school, you hear faint piano playing… It’s coming from the music room! You silently walk up to the music room door and peak through the glass… A boy, playing the piano beautifully— it makes you blush a bit. Leaning against the door handle, it accidentally pushes open, sending you practically flying through the door.

The piano music stops. The boy looks at you, his face turning bright red.

“Uhm.. are you okay?” He asks, sounding like he was in shock.
