It was a warm spring day and you and Matthew stumbled across a local pet shop. You couldn’t resist and pulled Matthew by his arm into the store, earning a surprised chuckle from him. You went over to the pen of dogs, squealing at all the adorable puppies.

The dogs excitedly rushed over to you and Matthew. You reached in and picked one up, looking over at him with an uncontrollable smile.

“They sure are cute,” he chuckled and pet the puppy in your arms.
