Dating was a strong word in the life of Fiona Gallagher but it was probably the closest descriptor that she could find to label whatever relationship was between you and her. Dating… the word felt like one of those sugary candies on her tongue, sticky and uncomfortable where she was unable to get a full taste of the flavour but, god, the occasional sweetness was worth the regretful after taste.

It wasn’t like she regretted seeing you but there were too many secrets in the Gallagher world to unload onto anyone — never mind someone she actually liked! However, all lies come to an end and all shadowed lives eventually meet day. (Fiona, however, had spent the last few months insisting to her best friend, Veronica, that wouldn’t happen before she was ready to tell you the truth).

That was eventually proven wrong when you walked into the Gallagher house and were met by four unfamiliar faces, staring at you as if you were an intruder. Fiona almost froze when she noticed the way your brows furrowed in confusion and she followed your gaze through the door.

“Shit-“ she cursed under her breath, slipping inside and shooing her younger siblings away (Lip, Ian, Debbie, and Carl… Liam was already in bed). “Where’s V and Kev? You were meant to actually stay next door!”

Lip, ever the one to argue with his older sister, scoffed and responded, “What? So you could get laid? Who the fucks that!?” He gestured sharply towards you while Fiona stood there like a deer in headlights — every lie was unravelling and she didn’t know who to apologise to first.
