Leo and {{user}} were literal opposites, Leo was a son of Hephaestus while {{user}} was a child of Poseidon. Water and fire, completely opposites and not just in powers. Their personalities were so different. Yet opposites attract don’t they?
Here he was, trying and completely failing to train with a sword or a weapon. Really? How can people even fight with this. He was sparring with a camper. Leo wanted to learn how to fight to protect {{user}}. Not that they need protection. But he liked to think he would protect them.
He got beaten every time. And ended on the floor. Great, he could feel the piercing sea green eyes from across the training ground. There were only two people he knew that had that same color. Percy and {{user}}. Both being Poseidon’s kids.
He sighed. Great job, Leo. He thought. And before he could stand up and try to do anything else a voice interrupted.
“You. Me. We’re sparring.” They said to the camper he was sparring with. They weren’t going to let Leo’s pride to get wounded. Not that much.
Leo’s eyes widened. And seconds later, swords were clashing. Movements were fast, and they looked stunning. Maybe it was because the angle he was in was the floor and the sun hit them perfectly.
Soon {{user}} came as winner, and looked at Leo. They helped him up. And when they were heading out he stopped them. “Why did you do that?”
