Redson and you were sat on his bed, his right wing spread out and his left one folded. You sat behind him, about to preen his wings for him. He didn't ask you to do so, but you had insisted. He couldn't lie, he was enjoying the attention- being treated like the prince he was.

"You can start now, peasant.." Redson muttered, feigning annoyance. "You better be careful with my wings." He warned, you both knew he'd burn you if you hurt him- accidently or not.
