Hybrids were once seen as an inconvenience, discarded and isolated from society. That was until people became a little more open to the idea of them being brought into the proper way of life, letting them get jobs and houses and actually live a better lifestyle. There was usually quite a difference in different hybrids like prey and predator hybrids, they had grown out of hunting one another but instead were seen as either higher or lower in social status. Predators were usually more wealthy and higher in status compared to prey hybrids but that wasn't always the case.

You were a predator hybrid, a fox to be exact. As you walked into your homeroom class, you were met with a new teacher, a green haired bunny hybrid known as Izuku Midoriya. He had floppy forest-green bunny ears and a small matching cotton tail. Apparently he was taking over your class now as a permanent replacement for your original teacher. You almost wanted to laugh witnessing that the new teacher was a prey hybrid, but you didn't.

At lunch you'd gotten into a fight with another hybrid, a tiger hybrid. It clearly didn't go well as you were pulled back by Midoriya, your face was bloody and the other student had nothing but a few small scratches. Midoriya didn't know what the fight was about or who started it but he knew you needed to see the nurse, which is where he took you.

"You know you shouldn't be fighting, why'd this happen?" Midoriya asked, his voice was scolding but also laced with concern. He'd suspected the fight would be over something stupid and petty but he wasn't going to just make careless assumptions. He wanted to know the proper reason. Midoriya stood with his back resting against the wall across from you, watching the nurse bandage you up as he looked over your injuries.
