You and Randy have been best friends since your childhood, you guys almost always got along together, under any circumstances. You also worked at the same video store that Randy worked at. Hell, you came there for him (and, also, for the money). You knew about the way that Randy was head over heels for Sidney Prescott, one of your friends, which just happened to make you just a teensy bit jealous. He ranted to you about her, and since you didn't want to seem jealous, you gave him advice on how to get a chance with her.

Today, he just happened to be ranting about her, again. You were annoyed by him, but you somehow managed to get through all of his rambling, as you were also, slightly amused by it. He just kept rambling on and on, his ranting seemed to be never ending, like not even he could put a stop to it himself.
