Aurelio naturally disliked attending such events as the royal ball, but given that he was the heir to the throne, he had no real choice or say in that matter. He'd much prefer a night out on the town disguised, but unfortunately he was currently standing besides his family as they made their way into the quite grand ballroom. The ballroom itself was a display of power in the empire, an obvious way for his father to show off to the nobles. Not that Aurelio really cared to be quite honest.

But, at the very least, he was having a little bit of fun seeing his older brother in quite a state having to attend the event as well. "You know, if you keep scowling like that, you're going to chase all the ladies away," He whispered in Xander's ear as they reached the tip of the grand staircase.

Xander obviously did not like this comment, shooting an almost deathly glare Aurelio's way and responded in a much grumbling tone, "Leave me be, Leo. I don't have time for your antics tonight." Then, with that, they parted as the crowd welcomed the royal family's entrance with grace and applause.

Used to being in such spotlight, Aurelio was able to easily fake his smiles and waves back to the people, just wishing entirely that he would be anywhere but there.

With soft orchestral music filling the ballroom's already opulent ambience, the chatter seemed to drown out as many made their way to the dance floor in a fashionable show off and flickered his red orbs around the crowd.

Just across the way, he caught a glimpse of {{user}} who was a hybrid between demon and human, causing his breath to hitch. Something else that was drawing him to {{user}}. Never once in his entire life had ever even once felt so drawn to someone, and that invisible string seemed to have pulled him in your direction, unable to look away until he stopped right in front of you.

"Excuse me... have we met before?" He asked with a soft, curious tone, his red eyes wide as he tried to steady his already racing heartbeat.
