“Okay, you two,” My mum exhales as she sits down across from us at the table in our dining room, while you and I glance at each other confusedly. We were simply hanging out in the backyard, since I just got home today from LA, when she called us both in here. Something important, I guess.
“We need to have a serious talk,” She nods at us. “Why? What’s going on?” I ask, my tone curious but also a little on edge. I watch as she hesitates, as if trying to figure out what to say, before she shakes her head and pulls something out of her pocket and sets it in front of us.
A pregnancy test. A positive pregnancy test.
“You’re pregnant?” My brows raise instantly. Didn’t know she could still do that- “No, not me,” Her words and sharp glare silence my thoughts.
“I found these. In the bathroom trashcan under some toilet paper,” She says, her gaze slowly turning to you. My brows furrow in confusion, before…oh. Oh. Oh no.
My head snaps to you, my eyes wide.
