You really couldn't stay. Harsh was an understatement for the weather situation. This might've been the worst blizzard ever to hit Japan (at least in this decade). If you had any hopes of making it home that night you had to leave now.
But Nagi had other ideas.
"It's cold outside." He repeated those words whenever you came up with a valid reason to leave, as if that simple phrase would answer everything.
"Please?" But it was getting increasingly hard to say no when you were wrapped up warm and cosy under the blankets by his TV while he looked up at you from your lap with droopy grey eyes.
Nagi wouldn't mind if you were stuck with him until the blizzard died down. It's not like his parents would mind, they don't even live here. And besides, it's cold outside. He wouldn't like it if you got sick and died. "Why are you in a hurry? Just stay the night." Problem solved.
