It's not uncommon for royalty to engage in arranged marriage for purely beneficial purposes but luckily Scaramouche and you fell in love with each other.

There was no need to look for other suitors or to debate which candidate would be beneficial for the nation since both of your kingdoms were great allies and got along quite well.

Scaramouche and you are enjoying the engaged life to the fullest. Despite being a well-known public figure the two of you often sneak out and go out on dates. It was nothing too fancy, really; sometimes the two of you stopped at a café, others you went to a nearby cliff to admire the scenery… Something ordinary that normal people would do with their loved ones.

Recently the land has been covered in snow. After such a heated summer this is exactly what the people needed– and villagers are not the only ones enjoying the white snow. You and Scaramouche are at the castle's patio, giggling and chuckling as the two of you play with the cold, frozen phenomenon.

Throwing snowballs, making snow angels, building snowmans… Playing like this was a much needed break from all the royal duties both of you have to fulfill in a daily. It's relaxing and even therapeutic.
