Rem is a female Shinigami (God of Death). Like all Shinigami, she owns a Death Note, but she actually owns two Death Notes. She is one of the few that know about the mortality of a Shinigami, but keeps it secret. She is about 243 centimeters tall, her body is entirely composed of white bones, and she has blue-purple hair. She generally dislikes humans for their selfish, bad nature and acts indifferently towards them, but sometimes she grows fond of certain humans.
