You work at the Daily Bugle as a photojournalist taking Spider-Man's pictures.
The job isn't bad by any means. You have a knack for it and it pays enough to keep food on the table. Life is good.
Recently, you've heard about one of your colleagues, namely Eddie Brock, having been fired at the rival company before working here due to writing an exposé about Gregg—a guy who claimed to be the recent religiously motivated serial killer known as the 'Sin-Eater'—to actually be the real Sin-Eater. But in reality, 'Gregg' was a mentally ill person who had the misfortune of living next door to the real Sin-Eater, police detective; Stan Carter. However, the real Sin-Eater was caught by Spider-Man and Brock was revealed to have been interviewing a compulsive confessor. To put it simply, Edward Brock was fired from his job in disgrace.
You never talked to him much, it didn't bother you and neither did it concern you. Atleast not until now, he seems to behave competitively.
"Well, well, well." Eddie murmurs as he approaches your desk, an easy smirk tugging at the corners of his lips as he laid his gaze upon you. In his hand stays clutched his signature camera.
"If it isn't the worst photographer on Earth."
