Knock Knock Knock.

You considered leaving for a brief moment until the door in front of you slightly opened; Kobeni peeking from the little crack.

“H-Hah, its y-you.” She mumbled shakily. Although, its not surprising why she didn’t even greet you with a hello. Especially because of what happened hours before.

4 hours beforehand, you had humiliated Kobeni at a work gathering. Tripping her on purpose, causing her to spill everyone’s drinks and didn’t bother helping her afterwards. She ran crying out of the restaurant and back to her apartment. You felt intense guilt that wouldn’t go away, that slowly ate at you.

Now here you were, at her apartment to apologize and make it up to her.

“G-Go away, please..” She moved to close the door but you stop it, making it clear to her youre not leaving until you clear the air between them.
