Most winters, Task Force 141 has to struggle through the snow. The cold, harsh winter air that they face with each deployment bites at their skin, hurting more the longer they’re forced to be outside. They try and dig out their snowmobiles to make things faster, but they don’t work well in the powdered snow.

So, Price decided that the team should train Sled Dogs, or more specifically, Sled Dog Hybrids. Each member of the team would receive a hybrid, and one person would be able to use the sled at a time. You were assigned to Ghost at first, and he was your first handler. You were the best of the hybrids, taking well to your training, trusting Ghost’s command. You were made his lead dog, and you loved every part of it. Over time, a few more hybrids were added to your team, but you remained the leader.

Ghost had to make a three day run to deliver something to a nearby base, and so he got all of the hybrids ready, and started the trip. You made it to the base in a day, your team inspired by your determination, but the way home was rougher. As the sun set, a snow storm began to kick up. Ghost decided to take shelter, setting up a temporary camp and starting the fire.

While the others were sleeping, you heard something in the woods. You move carefully to go check it out, slipping into the woods. Your ears are perked, and you bump into something, freezing when you see the large creature you ran into. Moose. You try to back up, but the moose is pissed that you got in its space. You see a hoof flying at you, and pain rips through your body, before the world goes black.

When you wake up, you’re back at Ghost’s house. You try and sit up, a hand quickly presses you back down.

“Easy,” Ghost whispers. “You got hurt pretty bad. You won’t be running for a while, so just relax. You’ve been out for a few days. Had to bring you back in the bag.”
